Effie is a 23"/58cms amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand and her bunny ears. She is an exquisite, expertly handcrafted doll to bring joy and pleasure. Effie is the perfect keepsake for doll lovers and art enthusiasts.
Effie has been made using a wire frame to make her poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has beautiful 14mm black glass eyes the have been both sewn and glued to make them secure. These together with buttons on her clothes make her unsuitable for small children.
Effie is more than a doll she is a masterpiece crocheted using the Japanese art of crocheting dolls in the round, namely amigurumi. The yarn used to craft her is that of Yarn Art Jeans which is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic making her soft but durable. This yarn is made in the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification which means it has been thoroughly tested and is free from harmful chemicals.
Effie is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet, each doll features a dense but smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted, high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
She takes weeks to create due to her substantial size and intricate detailing. From her firmly structured body to her individual styled hair, made using luxurious wefted mohair.

A doll this detailed does take time and she is worth every moment. Effie is not made in a factory she is made from my heart, by hand and just for you. Crafted slowly and intentionally because true art cannot be rushed. The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but she is worth every stitch.
Because of her size she can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe. However she does come with made to order and custom made clothes.
Effie is wearing the most beautiful made to order dress in white with pink flowers and it has matching knickers. A made to order pink bolero, frilly cream socks and the most beautiful made to order pink shoes adorned with delicate pink pearls. She has light blonde and gold wefted hair with two pink hairclips. Effie carries her own made to order white bunny which she will bring with her.
