Willow is a 23"/58cm amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand and her bunny ears. She is exquisite and an expertly handcrafted doll to bring joy and pleasure. She is the perfect keepsake for doll lovers and art enthusiasts.
She has been made using a wire frame to make her poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has beautiful 14mm black glass eyes that are both sewn and glued to make them secure . These together with buttons on her clothes make her unsuitable for young children.
Willow is more than a doll she is a masterpiece crocheted using the Japanese art of crocheting dolls in the round, namely amigurumi. The yarn she is crafted with is Yarn Art Jeans which is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic which makes her both soft but durable. This yarn is made in the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification which means it has been thoroughly tested and free from harmful chemicals.
She is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet stitches, each of my dolls feature a dense, smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted, high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
Willow has taken weeks to create due to her substantial size and intricate detailing. From her firmly structures body to her individual styled hair, made using luxurious wefted mohair. She is real artistry that takes time. Weeks of stitching, shaping and styling, finished off with dreamy wefted mohair. This is high-end handmade at it's finest. A doll this detailed does take time and she is worth every moment. Willow is not made in a factory, she is from my heart, by hand and just for you. Crafted slowly and intentionally because true art cannot be rushed. The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but she is worth every stitch.
Because of her size 23"/58cms she can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe. However she does come with with her made to order couture outfits.
Willow is wearing a beautiful made to order pinafore dress adorned with little bees. A yellow made to order cardigan, Peter Rabbit shoes, custom made. Lovely frilly cream socks and knickers and a flower/bunny ear hairclip. She is holding her own beige bunny, custom made that she will carry with her when she comes to you.
