Freya is a 23"/58cm amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand. Freya is the perfect keepsake for doll lovers and art enthusiasts and was made with such love, care and attention to detail.
She has been made using a wire frame which makes her poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has the most beautiful 14mm black glass eyes also sewn and glued to make them secure. These with the buttons on her clothes makes her unsuitable for small children.
Freya is more than a doll she is a masterpiece crocheted using the Japanese art of crocheting dolls in the round, namely amigurumi, thereby leaving no seams. The yarn used in her crafting is that of Yarn Art Jeans in peach. The yarn is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic making her soft but durable. The yarn is made in the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification Which means it has been thoroughly tested and free from harmful chemicals.
She stands approximately 23"/58cms subject to yarn and tension, both can vary slightly. Freya is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet stitches, each doll features a dense, smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted, high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
She takes weeks to create due to her substantial size and intricate detailing. From her firmly structured body to her individual styled hair, made using luxurious wefted mohair.

The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but worth every stitch.
Because of her size Freya can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe but she does come with made to order couture outfits, handcrafted with premium quality materials.
I have dressed her in a beautiful made to order long sleeved burgandy dress that has a small white flower print. She has lovely little frilly knickers and lace socks with a peach embellishment. Freya has the most beautiful custom shoes adorned with delicate pearls and Swarovski inspired sparkle for an elegant finish.
