Paige is a 23"/58cm amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand. She is a OOAK, exquisite, expertly handcrafted doll to bring joy and pleasure. She is the perfect keepsake for doll lovers and art enthusiasts and was made with such love, care and attention to detail.
Paige is made using a wire frame to make her poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has the most beautiful 14mm black glass eyes that have been sewn and glued to make them secure. Together with these she has buttons on her outfit which makes her unsuitable for small children.
Paige is more than a doll she is a masterpiece crocheted using the Japanese art of crocheting dolls in the round, namely amigurumi. The yarn used is Yarn Art Jeans in peach. This yarn is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic which makes her soft but durable. The yarn is made in the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification which means it has been thoroughly tested and free from harmful chemicals.
She stands approximately 23"/58cm tall subject to yarn and tension both can vary slightly. Paige is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet stitches, each doll features a dense, smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted, high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
Paige takes weeks to create due to her substantial size and intricate detailing. From her firmly structured body to her individual styled hair, made using luxurious wefted mohair.
She is real artistry that takes time . Weeks of stitching, shaping and styling, finished off with dreamy wefted mohair and her made to order clothes. This is high-end handmade at it's finest. A doll this detailed does take time and she is worth every moment. Paige is not made in a factory she is made from my heart, by hand and just for you. The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but she is worth every stitch.
Because of her size Paige can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe but she does come with made to order couture outfits, handcrafted with premium quality materials.
I have dressed Paige in a fabulous Noah's Ark story dress with a beautiful red collared cardigan. She has cream frilly knickers, cream frilly socks and the most gorgeous green satin shoes. Paige has two beautiful cream rose hairclips.
