Hello, welcome to my shop and meet Kyra who is 'Ready to Ship'. Kyra is designed for discerning collectors, she is a stunning centrepiece for and collection. Kyra is a luxury amigurumi doll, crafted to be cherished and made for admiration.
She is a 23"/58cm amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand. She is a OOAK, exquisite, expertly handcrafted doll to bring joy and pleasure. Kyra is the perfect keepsake for doll lovers and art enthusiasts and was crafted with such love care and attention to detail.
Kyra has been made using a wire frame to make her more poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has 14mm black glass eyes also sewn and glued to make them secure. These together with buttons on her clothes do make her unsuitable for small children.
Kyra is more than just a doll she is a masterpiece crocheted using the Japanese art of crocheting dolls in the round known as amigurumi. The yarn used to craft her is from Yarn Art Jeans in peach. The yarn is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic making her soft but durable. It is made in the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification which means it has been thoroughly tested and is free from harmful chemicals.
Kyra stands approximately 23"/58cms subject to yarn and tension, both can vary slightly. She is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet stitches, each doll features a dense, smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted, high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
She takes weeks to create due to her substantial size and intricate detailing. From her firmly structured body to her individual styled hair, made using luxurious wefted mohair.
Kyra is real artistry that takes time. Weeks of stitching, shaping and styling finished off with dreamy mohair and made to order clothes. This is high-end handmade at it's finest. A doll this detailed does take time and she is worth every moment. She is not made in a factory she is made from my heart, by hand and just for you. The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but she is worth every stitch.
Because of her size Kyra can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe but she comes with made to order couture outfits, handcrafted with premium quality materials.
I have dressed her in the most beautiful made to order floral dress and knickers to match. The most fabulous white & grey bolero, luxury frilly socks and the most beautiful Peter Rabbit Blue shoes. She is also wearing a large pearl embellished hair clip.
